Organizing fundraising, outreach, publicity and political campaigns, including general strategic planning and direct mail programs.
Conference Planning and Special Events
Conceiving and implementing fundraising events, press briefings, educational conferences and training workshops, including agenda planning, meeting facilitation and logistics.

Opening doors and creating positive impressions with key decisionmakers in policy and development settings, including advance planning and scheduling visits to Sacramento, Washington and other seats of power.

Before the establishment of his consulting practice, Michael worked at CBS News and the Public Broadcast Laboratory in New York, the San Francisco Business Times, San Francisco Progress, California State University at Hayward, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco Mime Troupe, and the Pickle Family Circus
Volunteer Activities & Board Memberships include ODC Theatre Advisory Board Chair, Catholic Charities of San Francisco – board chair, San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee, Embarcadero YMCA Volunteer Resource Committee, Convener of the Zhelazny Family Circle, Mission Cultural Center Carnaval Committee, various Cuban dance productions and workshops in the Bay Area.
Education and Travel – Michael attended public elementary and high schools in Brooklyn and then earned his BA in Sociology at Columbia. In San Francisco he completed an Arts Administration degree at Golden Gate University. He’s fluent in Spanish and has traveled in Eastern Europe, South America, Mexico, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
